On November 20th Carey Bock Levine was deposed by Attorney David Pollack in aid of execution of the $11.3M judgment.
I won't go into details yet, but interestingly, many will remember she attempted to say she was a Katrina Victim - yet later reports showed she sold her house for $210K 4 week "prior" the hurricane. From that sale she profited (according to her sworn testimony) about $40K - $50K. From this - Carey Bock has changed her story again. I am sure the truth is somewhere in the many stories.
Where did the money go? She said again, under sworn testimony, she bought furniture for her new apartment. Remember, if you have been following this Blog - she lived in a gated apartment community in League City, Texas after Hurricane Katrina as the real victims of Katrina were in the nearby Astro-Dome.
You may think this is petty, but you wouldn't if you have read her stories of "woe is me" without a lawyer...... Please keep in mind, she was in the middle of litigation, which had started months or even a year before Hurricane Katrina in which she had a lawyer for almost 2 years!
As you read her excuses and even her blatant attempts to slander me again, remember, don't get caught in the net! Free Speech is here, but it will never condone defamation.
She claims she didn't get her day in court - but I assure you, the jurors saw her through all the volumes of defamatory postings which led to the astonishing victory of $11.3M! She was there, but not in the psychical sense. Maybe she should have budgeted that profit a bit more wisely? We have heard she also had money to have breast augmentation. Guess that was more important than her legal obligations too.
Carey Bock will have an $11.3M judgment over her head - most likely for the rest of her life - so it stands to reason she finds no problem in continuing her slanderous ways. However, I believe eventually she will have to move on with her life. Until then, living in the negativity has proven to be her only escape from reality (in my opinion).
