Sue Scheff: Free Speech vs Internet Defamation - It Can Be Costly!

After 2+ years of litigation against Carey Bock Levine - a woman that maliciously and intentionally set out to destroy my organization, my family and myself, I won over $11.3M judgment against her from a jury on a hearing for damages.

Carey Bock Levine will have this judgment with her for a long time. Although I have won against her in a court of law - unfortunately it doesn't erase her slanderous comments, outright lies and twisted truths she has posted online.

With an $11.3M judgment over her head, as well as garnishment of her wages starting soon, people can see through her malicious posts.

After attempting to get the judgment set aside, she was firmly denied by the judge.

Blogging and the Internet has a lot to offer and can be fun - but remember, free speech will never condone defamation.
